I've been tagged....again!

Uh oh! I've been tagged again!!!

Suay's expression says it all!

This time, it is by JK

Okay, the questions here are pretty straight forward, not as mind boggling as the previous one. So here we go...

1. What time do you usually wake up?

When I have to.
Meaning, after 20 hits of the snooze button.
Not a second earlier.

2. What’s the first thing you do?

Rub my eyes and groan.

3. Breakfast?

If I'm good, I'd already have my breakfast packed the night before.
So I just need to remember to bring it to work.

4. Do you go to work/school?

I have...

Studied full time.
Worked full-time.
Worked full time and studied part-time.
And now, I study full-time and work part-time,
which really, is a pretty good way to go about it, I think.

5. Do you like it?

Oh yes! I'm living my dream and loving every moment of it!

For the first time in my life, I do not have this restless fireball burning within my heart, waiting to burst out, about to explode.
I wake up every day and thank the Lord for bringing me here.

6. If you stay at home, what do you do all day?

Me at home in Denton.

Think about The KiDd.

7. When’s lunch and what are you eating?

I pack lunch to work. Either a sandwich, leftovers from dinner or something.

8. What time do you get home from work/school?

Every day, work ends at about 1:00pm.
Every school day, I get back from my classes at about 9:00pm.
Every practicum day in Irving (about an hour's drive away from where I live), I get home at 10:00pm.

9. What do you do?

Ah ha ha.

Used to be an underpaid, overworked lawyer in Malaysia.

But now, it's a different story.

At work (Center for Student Rights and Responsibilities), I am a judicial officer and see students who may get into trouble for alcohol violations.

With my colleagues at the Center for Student Rights and Responsibilities

At school (University of North Texas), I am just another 2nd class graduate student in the Masters in Counseling Psychology.

Me and my 2nd class classmates in the Masters in Counseling Psychology Program at UNT.

2nd class graduate students because we're the only non-doctoral students in the Graduate Dept. of the Psychology school.

At practicum (Irving Family Advocacy Center), I am a therapist.

10. Dinner: When and what?

When I am arrive home after school or practicum.
I usually cook, and when I do, it's a pretty decent meal.

Western meal of steak and potatos, and tomato soup

Nasi Lemak, a Malaysian all time favorite

Pad Thai and Tom Ka Kai soup, famous Thai Cuisine

11. What do you do to unwind?

Used to be:

Pilates.

Go camping with someone fun.

Solo backpacking.

Muan Ngoi, Laos - December 2004

Playing with flowers.

Bridal bouquet for a good friend.

Flowers for Sunday service at my church.
The theme was yellow, reflecting joy and celebration.

And mountain hiking.

Climbing Phu Kradung

This one is fake, I wasn't climbing any mountain here.

Flirting, when I feel like it.

Which isn't very often, but when I do, I do

Now, I unwind by doing the following:

Reminishing those good moments The KiDd and I had together.

Playing in the snow - Santa Fe, December 28th, 2006

The Grand Canyon - December 30th, 2006

Shop for groceries or shop on ebay.

Blog.

Cook for my friends at my extremely humble abode.

Sometimes, at their apartments too.

Cooking at Chad's

Ditto for my loved ones.

Dinner becomes a feast with The KiDd.

Breakfast with The KiDd on Christmas morning, year 2006.

Preparing a fireside dinner on the snow at the Grand Canyon National Park.

And eat.

I'll never reach Duhville's standards, though.

Potter around my small plot of a garden.

Laugh with friends.
Be it with a bunch of them,

or just a good one, it doesn't matter.

Capture moments in pictures.

Seek solitude in nature.

The nearest park to where I live in Denton.

And when all else fail, I journal. Usually during the late night.

12. What’s your favorite part of the day?

Late night, when I'm all alone, and it is silent and still.
Its like the world has stopped momenterously, and I am the only one still moving...

13. Who’s your favorite person(s) to interact with?

The KiDd, of course.
Sadly, I don't get to do it often anymore.

The other favorite is my Lord.
Thankfully, I still get to do this. Every day.

14. When’s bedtime?

When I have to.
I like to make my night last as long as possible.

15. Who’s bedtime with?

In my younger days, with one of my kitty cats.

In my lala land, The KiDd is always beside me.

I used to go to bed every night, pretending that he's snuggled beside me.
It became too painful, so I've cut the crap and ceased the bedtime habit.
Instead, I've embraced reality.
Now, I sleep alone.

I've added notes on the past chapter of my life, to show that I did have a happening life once upon a time, a while ago.
Not the most interesting of posts.
I had fun, though, browsing through my pictures for this.

Thanks, JK.

It's ok...i know you'll over come it!

Haiyah...duhville only made yong-tau-foo that one time. Now make one big pot of soup and eat that for 3 days.

The cups, bowls and plates with the fruit design look like they are from Walmart :) I like that. My plates and bowls are very chaplang, from Pyrex to Zip-Loc. Nothing matches.

navarmalar:woe hoe! You'd have to tell him that ;) But it may not count, since your biased ;)

karen: thanks, Karen. it took a long time, but I did get on in my life after that.

ailsa:yeah, I bought them from Wallmart on my first day in Denton. Wallmark isn't exactly my first choice for creativeware, but these ones were so cheerful, they just make me so happy! i'm trying to figure out how to bring them home with me back to Malaysia!

Ah, its the food that matters more in the end, not the dish that holds the food :)
